Monica joined the company in early 2012 after a long tenure at San Francisco based, Gap Inc. Working mostly in the fast-paced International and e-commerce business units, she developed a passion for working with small, nimble, can-do teams. In her last two roles at Gap, she served as Sr. Director/GM for Gap Canada and Sr.Director of Merchandise Planning for Old Navy Online. Monica studied Economics and Math at Santa Clara University after moving to the Bay Area from Cali, Colombia.
She is driven by a desire to “keep it simple” and is continually looking for tool and process improvements to balance effort with quality results. Not surprisingly, Monica feels right at home in the world of modern lighting and furnishings where clean lines, a lack of clutter, and ingenuity thrive.
Monica enjoys being outdoors with her family – preferably with a fresh-water lake nearby – and collecting pets.
